Why Can’t Players Get Free PPs or Make Tourney Selections Sooner?

In most cases, entries for a given day’s races are taken three days prior to race day (e.g. Wednesday for Saturday, Thursday for Sunday, etc.). So how come HorseTourneys rules state that players typically are not able to make their contest selections—or gain access to the free Brisnet past performances available—until roughly 24 hours before the start of a tourney?

Draper, Lam, Chute and Arrison Each Win a Pair (Weekend Recap March 4-5)

 

It has become almost commonplace during a Pick & Pray weekend to see a player win multiple tournaments or prizes on a single day by entering a set of selections in more than one competition.

With this past weekend offering almost exclusively live-format tourneys, however, multiple wins by one player seemed to us like a far less likely proposition.

One of the most tempting aspects of Pick & Pray tourneys is the option to enter your same set of picks in a host of different competitions on a given day, and to win more than one event if it happens to be your day.
