Dylan Donnelly didn’t win anything of note over Fourth of July weekend—and you know that wasn’t going to sit well with him.

It’s a pretty terrific weekend on the racing calendar as the lone weekend of the Keeneland Summer Meet and opening weekend at Del Mar. We have 25 featured events to help do it all up in style. Since many of our players will be busy with the Keeneland Summer Challenge on Saturday over at Xpressbet, we’re directing a lot of extra emphasis to our Sunday schedule.

Multiple featured-tourney victories in a single week is always impressive. Five such victories in a single weekend is even more impressive. Five such winners split up over two different days…now that’s someone on a serious roll.

We’ll be busier than the Grucci family this Fourth of July weekend with 26 featured tourneys and an extra heavy barrage of nine guaranteed NHC seats that’s sure to elicit oohs and ahhs from any gathering of onlookers. The fireworks begin on Friday.

With a few new qualifiers added to the mix, we were up to a bulky 25 featured tourneys last week—the first three of which took place on Wednesday.

Even though this is “the week after the Belmont Stakes”, we’re almost as busy this week as last—22 featured events are on the schedule. And Sunday will be our busiest in quite some time with 11 marquee tourneys. Part of the mix are qualifiers to two brand new contests and a special, high-end Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge qualifier. That BCBC play-in isn’t until Saturday, though. Friday comes first.

It’s not the first leg of the Triple Crown we’re used to, but it’s the one we’ve got—and we stand ready to try and supercharge it a bit with a special $50,000 Guaranteed cash game to go along with Saturday’s customary $25,000 cash game. They’re part of featured-tourney weekend offering a whopping $119,500 in Guaranteed cash. The fun begins on Friday.

Weekly qualifying to The BIG One has taken place for much of the year. So far, 21 of the 50 allotted spots to the September 19-20 tournament — which will now take place online here rather than onsite at Laurel — have been won. That leaves 29 spots to fill and three months to fill them. So we’re doubling up.

On May 22, Dylan Donnelly won our $21,000 cash game by selecting seven winners out of 10 races. Little did we know, he was just getting warmed up.
