A total of four HorseTourneys’ players claimed a spot at the final table of ten at the NHC Saturday. Big One champ Charlie Davis headlined the group by finishing third in the championship. He was a capper away from taking down the crown of Handicapper of the Year. Trailing not too far behind was fellow HorseTourneys’ players Peter Deys (7th), Stanley Bavlish (9th) and Mark Richards (10th).

To finish ahead of the other 620 players in the tournament field is a testament to their skill and talent as handicappers. Congratulations on your noteworthy performances at this year’s NHC.

Day two of the National Handicapping Championship is in the books and the field of 631 has been narrowed down to only sixty-three contestants. This top 10% will be compete for the title of Handicapper of the Year Saturday.

July 15, 2015 – Qualifiers are now available at HorseTourneys.com to the Orleans Fall Classic, a major handicapping tournament to be held at the Orleans Hotel and Casino on October 8-10 in Las Vegas.  The first qualifier at HorseTourneys will be held this Saturday, July 18.

One of the major fall stops on the handicapping tournament circuit, the Orleans Fall Classic is a three-day marathon, run under the standard $2 Win/Place format and covering several major tracks.  An all-optional event, players may play races from any eligible tracks up to their maximum allowed per day.

The entry fee for the Orleans Fall Classic is $500.  Qualifiers at HorseTourneys afford players the opportunity to qualify for this event for a fraction of the entry fee.  HorseTourneys will also offer full package qualifiers, which include travel reimbursement to offset travel and hotel fees.

Entry only qualifiers begin Saturday, July 18, with a $58 entry fee, one entry awarded per 10 entries participating.  Daily feeders into qualifiers are available for $16.

HorseTourneys qualifiers Timothy Brokl and Anthony Kite turned in nice showings at the recent Arlington Park Handicapping Challenge, held July 12 at Arlington Park.  Starting with a $2,000 bankroll, Brokl turned his bets into $6,286, with Kite just behind at $5,607.  Both players earned their way into Arlington’s contest through qualifiers at HorseTourneys with entry fees of only $98, which translates into quite healthy profit for both players.  Well done.
