For the second consecutive year, The BIG One — racing’s “High Expectation Tournament” — will be hosted online here at HorseTourneys rather than onsite at its traditional home, Laurel Park.

A reflection of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the decision to keep the event online for another year means that The BIG One will again have one of the most player-friendly prize structures of any contest in the country.

Two Santa Anita Longshots Propel Alan Levitt to a Victory Worth $206,443 in Second Annual Flo-Cal Faceoff

Though much of the $570,373 Flo-Cal Faceoff seemed dominated by short prices, there were a couple of cap horses out there during the two-day competition, and Alan Levitt of Baltimore capitalized on both of them—including 29-1 Five Pics Please in the final contest race—to score an improbable, come-from-behind victory worth a total of $206,443.
