Travis Pearson Extends HT Tour Lead With Saturday Triumph; Ken Jordan Earns Three Grand Prizes; Jerry McClenin Wins $9,200 Plus an NHC Seat (Weekly Recap, November 16-19)

Unfortunately, with the premature termination of the Sunday card at Woodbine, our five-day featured-tourney week turned into a four-day featured-tourney week. However, there were still plenty of seats and cash to go around—and one player managed to visit the winner’s podium three times.

Your Cup Runneth Over at HorseTourneys With $297,000 in Guaranteed Cash Games Plus Qualifiers to the NHC, Flo-Cal Faceoff, Del Mar Fall Challenge and More

For a horseplayer, it doesn’t get much better than Breeders’ Cup Weekend. It was true in 1984, and it’s true now. For a tournament player, the anticipation is, I would argue, even more intense. Contests are fun even if you’re focusing on cheap claiming races, but when you can play against great players on the greatest races, it sort of brings out the best in all of us—and reminds us why we grew to love this sometimes frustrating avocation in the first place.

NOTICE Regarding Winner Take All, Head-to-Head Event Listings for Some Tracks

In an effort to reduce the home page listing size and load of HorseTourneys, effective immediately, please note that both WINNER TAKE ALL and HEAD-TO-HEAD events for some tracks will no longer appear on the main, home page listing.

These tournaments may be accessed by using the filters for both WINNER TAKE ALL and HEAD-TO-HEAD, found under the TYPE header in the filter section.

So for example, if you desire a $100 WINNER TAKE ALL event for HAWTHORNE, you would choose the WINNER TAKE ALL from the TYPE filter options. If you’d like to quickly find HAWTHORNE, also select the HAW option from the TRACKS list.

The same applies for HEAD-TO-HEAD. You may choose the HEAD-TO-HEAD option from the TYPE filter and find what track you’re looking for. Or, add the TRACK from the TRACK filter to narrow it more.

The tracks running at this current time that are affected by this change are as follows:

DELAWARE PARK
HORSESHOE INDIANAPOLIS
LAUREL
MAHONING VALLEY
HAWTHORNE
GOLDEN GATE
EARLY OR LATE BEL/KEE/SA

Please contact support at support@horsetourneys.com with any questions.
