Featured-tourney action really heats up this week with 23 marquee games—and that doesn’t even include Monday (whose schedule has yet to be determined). Suffice it to say, you may very well want to block out some time in between NFL Playoff games to take part.

Since 2021, HorseTourneys has hosted a three-race series of its top events, the Flo-Cal Faceoff in January, the Players Championship in April and the Spa & Surf Showdown in August. Known as the Tourney Triple, the series awarded bonuses to those who, based on a points formula, performed best throughout the three marquee tourneys.

In 2024, HorseTourneys will add to the series a fourth competition, the Pick & Pray® Classic.

We hope you had a nice first weekend of 2024—but it probably wasn’t as good as Jim Lisowsky’s.

Don’t look now, but the $250,000 Gtd. Flo-Cal Faceoff is now just about two weeks away, so qualifiers to the January 20-21 event take on added significance in the coming days.

Players really came out to play last week—almost as if the year was about to end. There were six days of featured events, and plenty of multiple winners. Some of them had predictably high scores…and some didn’t.

The 2023 HT Tour is not yet complete, but already we are excited about the 2024 edition of the Tour.

Once again in 2024, the HT Tour will be a year-long marathon concluding on December 31st. Here’s how things will work:

With almost all of last week’s featured tourneys being Pick & Prays, there was plenty of successful multi-tabling on display. Certain players, however, just seemed like they couldn’t be stopped at any point—especially Peter Rinato and Dr. Ronald Tang. 

There are only three full shopping days remaining until Christmas—and three full betting days too.

Just like the malls, we’ll be open right to the end as Christmas approaches. On Christmas Eve (Sunday), we have eight featured events—since Gulfstream Park and Tampa Bay Downs will be open that day.

It’s a message that always bears repeating to a contest player. Your fortunes can change in an instant.
