There are only three full shopping days remaining until Christmas—and three full betting days too.

Just like the malls, we’ll be open right to the end as Christmas approaches. On Christmas Eve (Sunday), we have eight featured events—since Gulfstream Park and Tampa Bay Downs will be open that day.

It’s a message that always bears repeating to a contest player. Your fortunes can change in an instant.

The latest “Exhibit A” of this came in Sunday’s NHC qualifier at HorsePlayers.

As the quest for holiday gifts intensifies this weekend, so does the hunt for NHC spots. You have four opportunities in the three days ahead to secure a place in Vegas next March…or to land a second seat if one is already in your possession.

There were not a light of giant prices last week, which means you had to piece together multiple winners in order to have a successful featured-tourney day.

Another 20 featured tourneys are on the books for the weekend ahead. Nineteen of them are Pick & Prays—so you don’t necessarily have to be attached to your phones or computers during the afternoons if you don’t want to be.  

The month of December began with a bang last Friday for several HorseTourneys players—especially Eric Brothers.

People who are skillful enough to win a HorseTourneys “major” seem to have one thing in common: They do a lot of winning. That trait was on full display last week at HorseTourneys.

You have the option of filling up on tourney play—as well as turkey—this coming weekend with a total of 21 featured events at HorseTourneys and HorsePlayers Thursday through Sunday.

For the second consecutive week, Robert Schintzius Sr. won both the Saturday and Sunday Big Bucks tourneys. To the best of our recollection, this has never happened before.

Neither victory last weekend was a walk in the park for Schintzius.
